BLADDER - Anxiety And Holding Onto Old Ideas

Welcome to my body-wisdom blog. Each day I have picked a body-wisdom card from my forthcoming book "Suzy Prudden's Body Wisdom Book and Cards." Like a Tarot card, Body Wisdom gives you suggestions for the issues of the day and an affirmation to facilitate moving beyond those issues.


The Bladder Represents Anxiety And Holding Onto Old Ideas.

Life issues for the Bladder include whether or not you are at the affect of constant nervousness or anxiety which has a negative impact on your ability to function well in life and whether you are dominated by old ideas, habits and patters that you recognize no longer serve you, but you adhere to them anyway.

It’s Now Okay To Let Go Of That Which No Longer Serves Me.


Your Bladder represents nervousness and anxiety. Issues with bladder control are either the result of or the cause of anxiety. That anxiety can be linked to old beliefs, habits, patterns and ideas that have ruled your subconscious for most of your life. You may now see those habits, patterns, ideas and beliefs as negative, but they are difficult to release.

When you draw the Bladder Card you are being asked to look at whatever it is that causes you to be nervous or anxious in your life. You are also asked to look at the habits, behavior patterns, beliefs and ideas that are having negative results in your life. These ideas can impact your health, your relationships, your balance, your work. They are difficult to change even when you see that change is important. Ask yourself what you need to change in order to make things work better in your life. Look at the habits and behavior patterns that are keeping you stuck in a negative behavior pattern. How important is that change and how hard are you holding onto that old habit or pattern?

To work with Bladder Issues ask your Higher Self what you need to know about where you are stuck in a negative behavior or habit – one particularly based on an old idea or childhood training. How is that behavior or pattern impacting your behavior? Does it cause you nervousness or anxiety? Does it have physical, mental or emotional impact? What holds you back from changing that idea and those behaviors and habits? Write your questions with your dominant hand. Write your answers with your non-dominant hand. When you have an answer, ask your Higher Self what you need to do to shift your old ideas so that you can change your habits and behavior patterns and release nervousness and anxiety. Do not judge the answers. Do not get in your own way with doubts about your ability to do whatever comes to your mind. Simply write down what comes to you. The last question of every session should be, “What else do I need to know today?

Your affirmation for today is, “It's now okay to release that which no longer serves me. Write the affirmation on a 3 x 5 card. Carry it with you, rather than posting it somewhere, and read it numerous times during the day. (If you post it, it will soon become invisible to you and you will get no benefit from it.)
