ADRENAL GLANDS - Emotional Balance

Welcome to my body-wisdom blog. Each day I have picked a body-wisdom card from my forthcoming book "Suzy Prudden's Body Wisdom Book and Cards." Like a Tarot card, Body Wisdom gives you suggestions for the issues of the day and an affirmation to facilitate moving beyond those issues.


The Adrenal Glands Represent Emotional Balance.

Life issues for the Adrenal Glands include whether or not you are feeling emotionally balanced in your life. The feeling of emotional balance is not dependent on what's going on in your life. rRther it's dependent on what's going on in your body.

(These are to be used if you have a condition that involves overactive or depleted adrenal glands, if you have unexplained exhaustion, or if you feel constantly emotionally unbalanced.)

It's Now Okay to Be Balanced In My Emotions Regardless Of What's Going On In My Life.


The Adrenal Glands represent balancing emotions. A person with out-of-balance Adrenals will be subject to exhaustion, mood swings, and an out of balance in life. Since the Adrenals also support the Thyroid, there is a chance of sudden unexplained weight gain or loss.

When you draw the adrenal gland card you are asked to look at those areas of your life where you are lacking emotional balance. Are you subject to exhaustion and mood swings? Do you sleep well? Are you experiencing unexplained weight loss or weight gain? Do you feel a need for protection in your life, protection from things over which you seem to have little or no control? Do you drink a great number of caffeinated drinks that work less and less well to stimulate you?

To work with Adrenal Gland Issues ask your Higher Self about what you need to know in the area of how to balance your emotional life. You may also ask about where you are responding in out of control ways to the issues that are coming up in your life. You may also ask how you can protect yourself from the things over which you seem to have little or no control. Use your dominant hand to write the questions, use your non-dominant hand to write the answer. When you have an answer, ask your Higher Self what you need to do to shift your need to balance your emotions so that you may release any mood or weight swings you may be experiencing. Ask how you can protect yourself from the things over which you seem to have no control. Do not judge the answers. Do not get in your own way with doubts about your ability to do whatever comes to your mind. Simply write down what comes to you. The last question of every session should be, "What else do I have to know today?"

Your affirmation for today is, “It's now okay to be balanced in my emotions regardless of what's going on in my life.” Write the affirmation on a 3 x 5 card. Carry it with you, rather than posting it somewhere, and read it numerous times during the day. (If you post it, it will soon become invisible to you and you will get no benefit from it.)
