Life issues for the Immune System include whether or not you are exercising your self-esteem on behalf of your SELF or whether you are allowing others to attack you, put you down, and tell you that you are less than you really are.
AFFIRMATIONS FOR IMMUNE SYSTEM ISSUES
(These are to be used if you have immune system problems as well as if you have
difficulties with your own self-esteem, or with self-esteem issues.)
It is now okay to be powerful on behalf of my SELF in the world.
The immune system represents acknowledgement of the self. It addresses the way you view your self, your self-esteem in the world. With immune system issues come the way others treat you, the way others regard you; whether others turn you into a victim within your own life or your community through disrespect and disregard. As the immune system protects your body, so your self-esteem protects your SELF.
When you draw the Immune System Card you are being asked to look closely at your self-esteem. Is your self-esteem well grounded within your core being or do you have constant doubts about yourself and where you belong in the world. Do others treat you badly in the world for reasons of class, wealth, sex, race, creed or religious beliefs? Do you find yourself in constant battles against others in order for you to be who you are? Do you like yourself? What would have to change in your life for you to love yourself exactly as you are?
To work with Immune System Issues ask your Higher Self what you need to know about self-acceptance. What you need to know about yourself in order to accept and love yourself as you are in the world. If you have issues with the way other people treat you what has to change in order to change those attitudes by changing your attitude toward yourself? If the world reflects how you feel about yourself, what can you do to bolster your self-esteem? Write your questions with your dominant hand. Write your answers with your non-dominant hand. When you have an answer, ask your Higher Self what you need to do to shift your relationship with yourself and your inner knowing so that they support you in a positive way. Do not judge the answers. Do not get in your own way with doubts about your ability to do whatever comes to your mind. Simply write down what comes to you. The final questions for each session should be, "What else do I need to know today?"
Your affirmation for today is, “It is now okay to be powerful on behalf of my SELF in the world.” Write the affirmation on a 3 x 5 card. Carry it with you, rather than posting it somewhere, and read it numerous times during the day. (If you post it, it will soon become invisible to you and you will get no benefit from it.)
