Welcome to my body-wisdom blog. Each day I have picked a body-wisdom card from my forthcoming book "Suzy Prudden's Body Wisdom Book and Cards." Like a Tarot card, Body Wisdom gives you suggestions for the issues of the day and an affirmation to facilitate moving beyond those issues.
The Face Is The Mirror Of The Soul.
Life issues for the Face include what you choose to show the world about your inner being. Are you constantly worried? Are you joyously happy? Are you angry? Are you a victim? All these inner attitudes wear lines in your face and reflect your inner being. Your question is what do you want to show the world?
AFFIRMATIONS FOR FACE ISSUES
(These are to be used if you want to select how you want the outer world to see your inner being. To change the look on your face, you need to change your core feelings. These are also to be used if you have pain, paralysis, injury or other facial issues.)
It's Now Okay To Let The Love, Joy and Happiness From Within Shine Forth.
Your face is the mirror of your soul. It represents what you show the world about yourself. It also symbolizes what you hide from yourself and the world. Inner feelings, even the ones you are unaware of, often appear on your face but, because your face is always looking out, you do not see them. By looking at your attitudes toward parts of your face, you can begin to understand what is going on inside.
If you have drawn the Face Card you may want to look at what you show to the world or what you are hiding. What inner feelings are you now aware of that you hadn't focused on before? How do your attitudes toward the various parts of your face reflect what’s going on in your life? When you don't like parts of your face, you may want to look at the significance of those parts and discover what they symbolize in your life. How much time do you spend focusing on what you dislike in your life? What does that tell you about yourself and about your life? Are there parts of your face that you cannot bear to look at? What is the significance of those parts? What do you avoid looking at in your life? You may also want to look at the areas of the face that you particularly like. What do they symbolize? How much time do you spend focusing on what you like? What does that tell you about what you like about yourself or your life? How can you use what you just discovered to enhance your life? Are you a smoker? Did you know that smoking is actually creating a "smoke screen" between you and the world? What part of your Self are you hiding and what are you hiding from?
To work with Face Issues, ask your Higher Self what you need to know about the way you are showing up in your life at this time. What do your attitudes toward the various parts of your face symbolize in your life? When you have an answer, ask your Higher Self what you need to do to change the areas of your life that you don't like. Write the questions with your dominant hand, answer the questions with your non-dominant hand. Do not judge the answers. Do not get in your own way with doubts about your ability to do whatever comes to your mind. Simply write down what comes to you.
Your affirmation for today is, “It's now okay.to let the love, joy and happiness from within shine forth.” Write the affirmation on a 3 x 5 card. Carry it with you, rather than posting it somewhere, and read it numerous times during the day. (If you post it, it will soon become invisible to you and you will get no benefit from it.)
