CALLUSES - Protection from Pressure Or The Wear And Tear Of Life

Welcome to my body-wisdom blog. Each day I have picked a body-wisdom card from my forthcoming book "Suzy Prudden's Body Wisdom Book and Cards." Like a Tarot card, Body Wisdom gives you suggestions for the issues of the day and an affirmation to facilitate moving beyond those issues.

CALLUSES

Calluses Represent Protection from Pressure Or The Wear And Tear Of Life.

Life issues for the Calluses include whether you resent the pressure you are experiencing in a given area. Calluses generally involve hands or feet - the way you handle responsibilities in your life or the way you are moving forward in your life. If you draw another card, it may focus your attention on a different and more personal life issue.

AFFIRMATIONS FOR CALLUSES ISSUES
(These are to be used if you have physical calluses - particularly those that cause you pain or that you don't like for another reason. Or, if you are experiencing extreme pressure in various aspects of your life that you wish to release.)

It's Now Okay To Enjoy Relief From The Pressures In My Life.


CALLUSES

Your Calluses represent pressure or friction in certain areas of your life. They may show up on your hands or feet due to pressure or the friction of your physical activities. They may be painful, particularly if they are a result of pressure from your shoes. Calluses protect your body from friction or pressure. They can alert your body to negative pressure or friction. If you are developing calluses on certain areas of your body look at the issues that body part deals with. If you want to narrow your life issues without looking at calluses on your own body, draw another card and look at the pressure or friction that you may be experiencing in those areas of your life.

When you draw the Calluses Card you are being asked to look at the pressure or friction you are experiencing in various areas of your life and how you protect yourself from pressure and friction in those areas. If you are experiencing negative effects of pressure or friction, how are you protecting yourself, or how are you failing to protect yourself? If you are failing to protect yourself what do you have to do to change your behaviors or your mind so that you are protected. Changing behaviors or attitudes is part of dealing with callus issues because calluses develop over time because of pressure or friction

To work with Calluses Issues ask your Higher Self what you need to know about how pressure and friction are affecting you as they pertain either to the body parts on which you have calluses or the issues that are affected by pressure or friction even if you don't have calluses on them. As yourself what changes you have to make in order to relieve the pressure or friction in that area or in that issue? Write your questions with your dominant hand. Write your answers with your non-dominant hand. When you have an answer, ask your Higher Self what you need to do to shift your relationship with pressure or friction so that you can be supported in making the necessary positive changes in your life. Do not judge the answers. Do not get in your own way with doubts about your ability to do whatever comes to your mind. Simply write down what comes to you. The final question for every session should be, "What else do I need to know today?"

Your affirmation for today is, “It's Now Okay To Enjoy Relief From The Pressure In My Life. Write the affirmation on a 3 x 5 card. Carry it with you, rather than posting it somewhere, and read it numerous times during the day. (If you post it, it will soon become invisible to you and you will get no benefit from it.)
